Meet Brittney
Behind the Lens
I’m Brittney, a past CHP bride, office manager extraordinaire, and an associate photographer here at Chelsea Hall Photography. My passion for documenting life’s little moments comes from childhood memories of my grandmother carrying a camera around at every family or school event. While sometimes frustrated at her persistence at the time, we’ve come to cherish these photos and films over the years. I’m beyond grateful to now be the one capturing those treasured, candid moments for our clients.
When I’m not documenting weddings or photographing families, you can usually find me at a rock concert, out at the race track during drifting events, or just chilling at home with my husband Anthony, our three dogs (Vulcan, Harley, & Kaida), and two cats (Kelic & Sparrow).

What sets you apart from other photographers?
Two words: candid photos and fun! It’s how we do things around here. But in all seriousness, we take our photos in intimate, relaxed settings, and we try to use natural lighting as often as possible.
Will we get the print release to our photos after our wedding?
Yes! When we deliver your images, we’ll also provide a print release, so you can print your photos for personal use
How many photographers will be there at our wedding?
Each one of our wedding collections comes with two photographers! So kick back and enjoy your day because you know we’ve got all the can’t-miss moments covered.
Will we get featured in a magazine or a blog?
It’s always a possibility your wedding may be featured, but it’s not something we can guarantee. Most publishers are interested in colorful, uniquely designed weddings! If that’s yours, we’ll let you know if you should keep an eye out for your shining moment.
Do you photograph elopements?
Of course! Depending on availability and the number of hours you have to set aside for photography, we have special rates for weekday weddings and elopements. Send us a note to talk through it!
Do you have a list of preferred vendors to use?
Heck yes we do! From wedding coordinators to florists and caterers, we’ve worked with some of the best of the best in the industry and would love to share their info with you. Just let us know what you’re looking for, and we won’t hesitate to share away.
We’re having a destination wedding. Do you travel?
Yes! We love destination weddings! Send us more information on your travel plans, and we’ll create a custom wedding collection to suit your needs.
Do I have to order prints through you?
While you’ll be given a print release to print photos for personal use, we highly recommend ordering through one of our professional vendors. It’s not required, but trust us when we say the difference in quality is huge! We’re happy to help you with this step.
What equipment do you use?
You’ll notice we show up carrying the latest Nikon equipment: a Z6 and D780, a 35mm lens, 50mm lens, 85mm lens, 90mm lens, and 105mm lens, among other items. And for your peace of mind, all our cameras and lenses have a backup in the rare event that anything should happen.
We're awkward in front of the camera, is that ok?
Hey, we're all a little awkward! Almost every single couple has asked this question before being photographed, and we rock it out every single time. It's not your job to be a model or work those angles in front of the camera. Instead, it’s our job to break down barriers from the beginning and make you feel relaxed and present, so we can capture your truest selves. Trust us, together, we’ve got this.
What does it take to book our celebratory day with you?
A 50% deposit and signed contract is required to get your wedding day on our calendar. One month before your wedding, the remainder of the balance is due. Ask us about our payment plans!

Wedding Day Tips
It’s all in the details
Gather all your details before the day starts so that I can photograph them quickly!
This makes the getting ready portion of your day go by much more smoothly, and it allows us to spend more time focusing on the spontaneous moments when you’re with all your rad humans. Here are some details you might want to gather beforehand: rings, jewelry, hairpieces, flowers, shoes, socks, cufflinks, letters, pictures, gifts, invitations, programs, and any other meaningful items you treasure.
Make sure your loved ones are ready for your special moments.
If you’d like your Mom, Dad, Grandma, etc. present for a special moment, make sure they‘re dressed and ready. Hiring a wedding planner or day-of coordinator is essential if you want your family to be in-the-moment and having fun. Let your coordinator style and decorate your tables, while your family and friends get ready and celebrate with you!
Go UNPLUGGED.
I’ve seen it all. iPads blocking the first kiss. Mom glued to her phone videotaping your first dance. Family and friends not being present. Why do we share this? Not to play the shame game, but because we want to capture your Mom’s tears while watching you dance with your forever partner in crime, your Dad’s laugh during toasts, and your wedding party’s reaction to you both looking hella fine. So, remind friends and family that you hired a professional to capture the day. That way, they can kick back (phone-free) and let their raw emotions take over.
Schedule in some alone time.
Whether it’s your first look or catching the sunset together, schedule some time to be alone, just the two of you. After all, it’s your day, and you deserve some quiet moments away from the spotlight.
