Cincinnati Wedding Photographer | Sarah + Michael

When I think about my most heartfelt, joyous weddings, Sarah + Michael's big day comes to mind! These two made every single part of their wedding day matter. It was personalized and intimate- my favorite! 

The couple met during medical school- Michael is originally from China but grew up mostly in the Cincinnati area and Sarah is from the Pittsburgh area. They currently live in Cincinnati while they're finishing medical school. They spend as much time as they can outside when they aren't wrapped up in schooling. 

For the wedding day, they incorporated some Chinese traditions into the ceremony and reception as well. My favorite was the tea ceremony during the wedding vows! It was so sweet and both touched and warmed my heart. I dig seeing diversity not only represented but respected at weddings. Joining two families is a big deal and it's awesome when the day is inclusive to that!

Th reception was really fun! Sarah and Michael enjoy dancing together (if you can't tell from their photos). I loved Michael's dance with his Mom- she was just beaming from ear to ear all day! The toasts were a riot and everyone joined in on the dance floor when the DJ started to crank things up!
