Ohio Wedding Photographer | Olivia & Brian's Something Old Dayton Wedding
You guys. This wedding pulled at my heartstrings all day long. Olivia and Brian are such an amazing couple and their intimate wedding gathering at Something Old Dayton was a dream to capture.
I've known Olivia since college at Wright State, we were both in Greek life (she and AXD and myself a DZ!). I met Brian at our Harry Potter Trivia Night that we threw last year. Olivia is full of life and hilarious and Brian compliments that energy so well. I love following along with their quirky Instagram stories!
Their venue fit them perfectly. If you aren't familiar with Something Old Dayton, it's the most adorable vintage rental business. They have two studio spaces in the Davis-Linden Building in Dayton, Ohio and a warehouse for all their vintage goodies in north Dayton!
Their first look was at Opal & Fern- where we held their portrait session (In case you missed it last month, you can find it here). This is where the feels started. Brian's reaction to seeing Olivia was moving. You could see the love and excitement as happy tears started to roll down his cheek. Olivia placed her hand on his face to wipe them away and I just couldn't handle it. Seeing love that deep is why I love this job.
The ceremony was just as emotional as the first look, but after the kiss, as they were walking down the aisle as a Mr and Mrs. It was a holy sh!t we're married moment, but also the moment that Olivia realized she forgot to walk down the aisle with her bouquet, and that had us all laughing!
Their reception had the perfect intimate dinner gathering vibe, which was exactly what the they wanted! City BBQ catered the occasion and it was delicious!
I can't forget to mention that the couple DIY'ed their florals with the help of The Flowerman. I loved Olivia's boho bouquet and matching hair piece, as well as Brian's boutonniere. Their colors matched perfectly with the location where we took a few more portraits- hello, isn't that mural wall bad ass?!
If you're planning a super personalized wedding too and haven't secured your photographer yet, I'd love to chat. There are few things in life I get more joy from than capturing a couple madly in love!
